Whew. So many tournaments, so little time.
On September 20, Phi Kappa Psi held their tournament at the Aberdeen court and team Shark Week took home 1st place. Highlights included Conor winning the side bet for knocking an accessory off w/ a dodgeball and Mikey taking one of the NDL players to the ground in an attempted strip. There's a new Mikey in town. On September 27, Filipinos In Alliance held their tournament to fundraise for MAFA (Midwest Association of Filipino Americans). Team Shark Week once again dominated and took home 1st place undefeated. Highlights included Mikey (once again) tripping and rolling across the court in an attempted suicide, Milo starting a slow clap for Adrian in which Adrian turns and says, "Guys, I can't hear anything." and Lizelle holding her breath as Michael Pena dropped the ball for the winning out in the finals. Good times.
